Welcome to the Carefree Cottages of Maplewood, a vibrant community for active seniors. Our property offers affordable independent and assisted living, conveniently located in the heart of Maplewood, Minnesota. Family owned and operated since 1993. In 2015, Carefree launched its assisted living program, licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health. We provide three chef-prepared daily meals, 24-hour healthcare staff, and a variety of home health care services and activities. Carefree accepts county programs (for example, Elderly Waiver, CADI).
